Emma’s background is an unusual one for travel: starting off in finance, then years in the art world. Both shaped how she moves through the world. From art she took an obsession with context — the belief that understanding where something comes from makes it infinitely more interesting. From finance she took precision. The knowledge that details matter, that nothing should be left to chance, and that the difference between a good outcome and a great one is usually invisible until something goes wrong.

She'd been traveling seriously for most of her adult life. Not tours, not package— real travel. The kind where you end up at a table you weren't supposed to be at, in a room that wasn't listed anywhere, being introduced to someone who changes how you see a place entirely. Her trips were always built around a thread: a particular artistic movement, a city's architectural history, a dynasty she'd been reading about for months. Art, heritage, history — not as a checklist, but as a way in. A reason to go somewhere deeper than the surface.

Books were always part of it too. Before every trip she'd have a stack — a novel set in the country, a history of the region, a biography of someone who'd walked the same streets. She still does. And now she passes those recommendations on to her clients, because there's a version of a place you only access through its literature, and it changes everything about how you arrive.

Our Approach

Contributing to the narrative of someone's entire life by adding more to their story.

THE CONVERSATION

Every trip starts the same way: we talk. Not a form, not a questionnaire — an actual conversation about who you are, who you're traveling with, and what this trip needs to feel like. We want to know what you've already done and what left you cold. What you read, what moves you, what you're hoping to leave behind for a few weeks. The trip we design comes from that conversation — not from a template.

THE IMPACT

Once we understand you, we get to work. We draw on relationships built over years — with properties, operators, and guides who don't show up in a search — to put together something that couldn't have been assembled any other way. We handle every detail before you think to ask about it. The document is ready. The preference is already noted. The guide already knows. By the time you arrive, the only thing left for you to do is be present.
